Reconnecting River Country Program

Project description

NSW Dept of Planning and Environment engaged Spatial Media to create a bespoke 'Virtual Engagement Space' for the Reconnecting River Country Program.  This program has been developed based on extensive feedback from the local community and using the best available and most recent science and modelling. It will focus on delivering local community benefits first and foremost, as part of the NSW Government’s continued commitment to delivering sensible, community driven Murray-Darling Basin Plan outcomes.

A first of its kind out door experience along the river was created where the community can download project information, see before and after sliders of flooding, explore via interactive map, read FAQs and sign up for updates and take project surveys.

Spatial Media's Virtual Engagement Rooms allow anyone with access to a web-enabled device to visit a community event online, during times of social distancing restrictions.
