Created as a public service initiative in response to the Ottawa Truck protest in Early 2022, we created an interactive map that shows the environmental impacts of the ongoing trucker convoy.
This project was designed to giving the people on the ground in Ottawa the ability to visualize the impacts of the protest as well as the ability to report their personal impacts and submit recordings of the protest onto the map.
Launched on Feb. 16, the new tool overlays colour-coded data onto a 3D map of Ottawa, allowing users to see protest effects like noise levels, air quality reduction and traffic closures.
