Working Dog Productions approached Spatial Media to create a wide-ranging collection of 3D assets for Utopia, an award-winning TV series produced in Australia. The show follows a team in the fictional ‘Nation Building Authority’, a government organisation which is responsible for overseeing major infrastructure projects, from announcement to subsequent unveiling.
The scope of work for broadcast included the show’s opening title sequence, 3D images, 3D fly-through videos, augmented reality and simulated traffic management. All completed work was shown on the ABC, Australia’s national broadcaster.
