With innovation as a priority the project team were looking for new and cutting edge ways to engage on a very complex project
An Interactive Engagement Portal to create an interactive an intuitive one stop shop for project communications and engagement. A multi page website with a scrollytelling style narrative to excite users into learning more about key aspects of the project. Initially an interactive map was created to support the first Digital EIS for the project. a series of virtual engagement rooms and map updates helped facilitate the multi stage EIS and approvals process on the project.
A multi layered interactive map was also augmented with a tunnel tool which allowed the project team to engage with property owners that were affected by the tunnels and sub-surface acquisitions. the interactive tool educated users on tunnel location and depth based on their location.
With approvals completed a 3D interactive map was created to show over station development. Supported by a 3D virtual tour, users could explore the precincts and see what they will look like in the future.
