Spatial Media was engaged by VicRoads to create a detailed 3D animation that would showcase Victoria’s new ‘Protected Intersection’, located at the Albert Street and Landsdowne Street juncture.
Working closely with key project staff, the intersection’s structure and operational procedure was fully-realised through comprehensive 3D modelling and animation. Melbourne City data was utilised to assist in the production of photorealistic buildings around the area. Custom animations of cyclists, pedestrians and vehicles in and around the location allowed for a true-to-life explanation of flow and functionality.
